Explore the world around you, above, behind, and within. Collaborate with Miss Heidi and classmates to learn more about a mix of STEAM topics, including space, weather, forensics, food, and life as a kid in the 1970s. This class requires no prior experience and is designed for incoming K (with adult) to 6th grade. The camp is available weekly or by the day as part of our Super STEAM miniCAMPs (see individual miniCAMPs list for daily descriptions).

Tu 6/27 8:30am-12:00pm "The Science of Food" - The Physics of Popcorn, the Biology of Bananas, the Math in Milkshakes, and the Chemistry of Cola combine to a fun and tasty way to study the worlds of STEAM
We 6/28 8:30am-12:00pm "Adventures in Space" - Learn about constellations, planets, eclipses, time-keeping. and more through classroom activities and a visit inside the StarLab planetarium.
Th 6/29 8:30am-12:00pm "Forensics" - Understand the science behind solving puzzles and mysteries using observation, chemistry, and math with games and experiments
Fr 6/30 8:30am-12:00pm "70's Childhood" - Go back in time to learn through play the 70s way, with Spirograph, Silly Putty, ViewMaster, Shrinky Dinks, Slinky, and more.
